Instant Pot Hibachi Fried Quinoa
The first recipe of mine to go "viral" and put me on the map as a trusted recipe creator was my Instant Pot rendition of Hibachi Fried Rice. So many have written to tell me it's their favorite recipe and they make it foten as it reminds them of being at Benihana and the likes. Now you're getting a version of this dish where we will use a healthy, springy grain known as quinoa (pronounced "keen-wa") in place of the rice, making it healthier and guilt-free with all of the satisfaction. If you were ever hesitant about trying quinoa, now is the time to fall in love with Hibachi Fried Quinoa.

I just came across your youtube. I loved how simple and easy you described how to use the Instant pot duo. I have had it for 3 years and never used the air fryer attachment. I did it today and I was amazed. I made store bought frys and used the broiler, it came out great. I am going to use the instant pot more often now. Thank you for the video😃😃😃😃

1. Вы неправильно вымешиваете фарш. Его нужно мешать в течении примерно 5 минут в одну сторону по кругу. Удобнее это делать палочками для еды. А еще лучше тестомесом с насадкой для фарша. Такое вымешивание является важным и создает правильное состояние фарша перед готовкой. 2. Фарш удобнее накладывать в обёртку ложкой. Да и брать его руками без перчаток... не гигиенично. 3. Концы вонтонов нужно качественно склеивать, чтобы вонтоны не теряли форму после варки. 4. Если варить вонтоны так, как предлагаете Вы, то некоторые из них слипнутся друг к другу да еще и прелипнут ко дну и стенкам кастрюли. Чтобы сварить вонтоны правильно, их нельзя варить в мультиварке, их нужно варить в открытой кастрюле. Доводим бульон до начала кипения, раскручиваем бульон ложкой в одном направлении и по одному кладем в бульон вонтоны, продолжая раскручивать бульон. После того как вонтоны всплыли и бульон закипел добавляем в него 100 гр холодной воды и ждем когда закипит снова. Как только бульон снова закипел, добавляем еще 100 гр холодной воды, и снова ждем закипания. Когда бульон закипит третий раз, вонтоны готовы. 5. Шпинат, бок-чой или любую другю зелень, которую Вы добавляете в бульон, не надо варить, ее надо бланшировать, т.е. положить ее на несколько секунд в кипящий бульон и после этого выключить его. 6. Зеленый лук не стоит добавлять в кастрюлю, т.к. он потеряет свою текстуру, хруст и свежесть. Луком суп нужно посыпать уже в тарелке. 7. Вонтоны делают маленькими не от жадности, а потому, что после варки они увеличиваются в размере, и их становится неудобно кушать. Надеюсь мои советы будут Вам полезны. Москва.

BTW, a great thing about quinoa is that it is a complete protein 8 g in one cup (5 g fiber). You don't eat it and have to think "Do I eat almonds or peanuts with this?"

Tip - don't waste your money on "pre-rinsed" or "washed" quinoa. I've found that even those products benefit from rinsing. And it's a markup for something that is simple to do yourself. Definitely going to try this recipe soon... looks delicious.

The only mixed vegetables that I like are in salad. I have an aversion to the ones you used. I’m thinking more along the way of broccoli or cauliflower. So I supposed I could leave them out or just use veggies that I like? Other than that I love quinoa! It also makes a great cold salad with onions, cukes, tomatoes, salt & pepper in a vinaigrette dressing of your choice.
Interesting will have to try and see if the Mrs will like it she isn’t a fan of quinoa.

Thank you for this recipe. I made it last night and was very tasty. If I make it again I would make a few changes to suit my tastes though. First, I would double the minced garlic. Cut the beef broth to 1/2 cup or eliminate completely and just use 1/2 water. The broth made it soupy even with the slurry and overwhelmed the flavor of the sauces. I like my sauce thick. I also would add a bit of white pepper. Lastly, I would eliminate the instant pot. It really didn't serve a purpose other than a stirring bowl. The chicken and onions could be cooked on the stovetop just as fast. No wok needed since the veggies are steamed in the microwave.
A year after my first comment I’m still making this soup. It’s in the instant pot coming to pressure as I type. I mix kale and spinach and have experimented with a variety of Better than Bouillon flavors and it always comes out delicious.
